It seams that most people think of “healthy eating” as eating a diet that is full of tasteless, boring, and bland foods that leave them completely unsatisfied.

It’s true that this can accurately describe many of the “healthy” diet plans that are out there, but while these plans might be nutritious and low in calories, they often end up being a real chore. The tasteless nature of these types of diets puts off more people than anything else.

However, healthy eating shouldn’t to be about eating flavorless or bland food at all. You just have to make sure that your body gets all the daily nutrients it needs, otherwise you can really eat quite a large selection of appetizing foods.

The following are highly tasty and nutritious foods that you can try:

1. Raw nuts

Many people think that nuts are bad for their health, but in reality they are good for you as long as you choose the right kind of nuts. Choose raw nuts that have no added sugar or salt.

Nuts are the perfect way to satisfy your appetite while giving your body some vital nutrients that will help you stick to a nutritious and low calorie diet.

2. Fruits

There is no doubt that fruits should be a part of every diet for a number of reasons. Fruits are packed with nutrients, high in fiber, and low in calories. Additionally, fruit is very tasty so you should explore the different kinds.

Berries are one of the most important fruits to consider for your diet. They have relatively low sugar content but high in carbohydrates which is a good source of energy for the body.

3. Eggs

It is a well known fact that eggs are a great protein source. Even though you may have heard that egg yolks are bad for you - don’t eliminate them.

The truth is that the yolk of the egg isn’t bad for you. The yolk contains most of the nutrients found in an egg and will fill you up more quickly that many other food types. Whole eggs are ideal for appetite control.

It’s true that none of these foods will actually directly burn fat, but there are no foods that will do this. The foods listed above will have burn fat by giving your body the nutrients it needs while controlling your calorie consumption.

This will make your body use its stored energy (fat) eventually. Keep in mind that you can give this process a helping hand by doing some exercise each day.

Why don’ t you try out these three food types and see for yourself that slim figure in the mirror!
