It is well known there are basic necessities we need for survival, such as food and drink. Since many find it difficult to eat their share of fruits and veggies, fresh vegetable and fruit juice may be the way to go. In fact, it is easy to drink 10 carrots and benefit from all the nutrients found in them, but it is almost impossible to eat and digest the same. Fresh veggie juice is best for those on-the-run or who like to keep it simple.
It is well known that exercise strengthens your body and stimulates your immune system. Exercise also stimulates your circulatory system and helps move the lymphatic system (which carries immune cells). This is needed for your body to carry out waste while transporting nutrients to where they are needed. At the same time, deep breathing also helps release metabolic waste. At the least, go for a brisk 20-30 minute walk 4 times a week.
Herbs are being researched more today because of their known effectiveness to help your body. Echinacea has been shown to boost the immune system, garlic helps kill bacteria and other pathogens, and a compound in goldenseal has been shown to work against infections and tumors. These are just a couple examples of how herbs work. As for side effects - there really are none. What is shown is how the body changes by revving metabolism or better assimilation - a side effect you would also find by changing to a healthier diet. One thing to watch for, however, is your body’s reaction if you are taking medications.
