It seems like nowadays everybody wants to lose some weight. Be it a big goal such as 50 pounds or a small goal of say 5 pounds, we all want to lose some weight. When we choose to lose weight, those preferred way is easy and quickly.
When deciding to lose weight you must also decide to be dedicated in your objective. The hardest part is starting and keeping your eye on the prize. Make a chart or follow yourself on a calendar to be able to mark and track your progress.
When someone believes they are over weight, the main cause is usually lack of exercise and too big of meal portions.
If have a heavy work schedule that doesn’t allow for much exercise time, this doesn’t mean you have to scrap exercise altogether. 30 minutes a day is not asking much for exercise and it’ll drastically change the way to feel in a good way.
A neighbor of mine and I walk 3 times a week. During the summer months when it is simply too hot, we might not make 3 walks, but we try to remain dedicated. If you can start to take short walks, or long ones, as many times a week as possible, you might start to lose 10 pounds faster than you imagined you could.
In addition to starting your walking routine, you should also examine your food intake. Decide whether it is possible for you to cut back on how much you eat and also watch what you eat.
Try to see if you can cut out your snacks that you eat in your lunch break or in between meal times. Replacing that bag of potato chips with an apple won’t only help you lose weight but also help you feel healthier and more active throughout the day.
Instead of potato chips, I found low-fat pretzels. I gave up the morning donuts and Tastykakes and settled for a banana and animal crackers. Sure, they aren’t as yummy but I know that it will help me lose 10 pounds much faster than stuffing my face with junk food. In fact, to lose 10 pounds may be incredibly fast for some people.
I found that in order to help myself not want to eat, I needed to feel full. The best way to do that is to drink cold water. Lots of it. Since drinking more water means more bathroom trips, I am even moving around more often.
Another important thing to do when planning to lose weight is to plan your attack. Plan what time you’ll be walking in the day and plan what you are going to eat.
