Lifestyle Recipes
Not all Natural recipes include the mixing of ingredients and applying it to your skin. Often it is changing your daily practices and diet. This combined with a healthy skin care regime can make an emormous difference.
Two handy hints for good skin care to start with are exfoliation and a healthy diet. There are many products out there that can be used for exfoliation, a dry brush is one and can be used by lightly rubbing the skin to remove dead skin cells. This will open the pores and leave the skin clean and fresh. Healthy eating habits will also help to keep your skin healthy. Drinking plenty of water, eating plenty of fibre and avoiding large amounts of sugar. Maintaining a healthy balance of healthy fats is also important to good skin care.
Recipe Ingredients
Whilst healthy habits will aid in the quest for healthy skin, there are numerous traditional recipes for skin care. The majority of these are used for the basis of skin care, such as moisturizing and removing excess oil on the skin. Most of these recipes can be found in books or are available on the internet. The most common ones are often the most effective on a higher percent of people.
A great Natural recipe for oily skin uses avocado, egg white and citrus juice. Take the pulp of an avocado, one egg white and a dash of citrus juice (lemon or lime is best) place into a blender and mix until all combined. The resulting mix will be a thick green mudlike substance. Wash your face and neck well and pat dry with a soft towel. Apply the avocado mix thickly to the skin and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse off well with cold water. The result should leave your skin feeling less oily and fresher for at least a couple of days.
Extra Recipe Ideas
A wonderful recipe for moisturizing uses pure honey and is improved even more when combined with the use of steam. Cover the skin of your face with pure honey and use either a steamer or a bowl of boiling water and a towel. Remember to remove the honey with cold water. The peel from an avocado is also a great moisturiser. Gently wipe the inside of the avocado peel against the skin of your face and then wash off with cold water. All natural recipes are cheaper than shop purchased skin care products and often more effective. Try them, you will be pleasantly surprised.
