A diamond has long been loved as the ultimate symbol of lasting love because of it’s purity and ageless beauty.

Whether you have experienced buying diamonds for engagement rings before or not, you may be unsure as to why one is worth $3000 while another one is only worth $300. What goes into determining the price of a diamond?

The physical weight of a diamond is referred to as its “carat”. The value of a diamond is directly proportional to its size. The larger the diamond, the more valuable it is, because larger diamonds are less common. Greater size makes the diamond more spectacular, and therefore increases the purchase price.

After carat weight is obtained, the next aspect that can cause price deviation is the clarity. You can determine the clarity of a particular diamond by a number of features. The term inclusions refers to imperfections inside the diamond, while blemishes refer to imperfections on the surface.

Feb 10, 2009 Author: Okeke Nnaemeka | Filed under: Marriage, Relationship

A Christian marriage is one of the most general forms of wedlock that a couple can be tied through. The ceremonies are very conventional, with a vow being exchanged between a man and woman. If you are planning to be married, chances are legion of the fundamental traditions are Christian in origin.

A Christian marriage starts long before the couple says ‘I do’. In order to be tied in some churches, you will be asked to attend counseling, so that the minister of the church can evaluate and solidify your credibilty in the church. The minister can, at any time, choose not to wed a couple for religious regions, although this is becoming quite rare. Many churches will not wed a couple unless at least one member of the wedding party is a member of the church, although this varies from church to church and denomination to denomination.

When you are wed in a Christian marriage in a church by the leader of that church, the ceremony itself is normally attended by numerous members of the church. While numerous churches will do personal weddings, many of them are opened to the faithful as a whole, as the marriage ceremony tends to be linked with a small sermon concerning marriage and the biblical duties of both man and wife.
