Also, your body uses extra energy to cleanse. The right cleansing diet helps your body digest and assimilate food quickly. This way, it has more energy to cleanse.

Eat plenty of fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, small portions of proteins including sprouts, legumes, nuts, fish or poultry. Eat small amounts of whole, unprocessed grains and drink plenty of fresh water.

Do not eat junk foods or highly processed foods. Also leave out foods that contain high amounts of sodium, corn syrups, sugar, or processing chemicals. All of these could interfere with your body’s natural cleansing process.
